The Winterwarm DHX is a conventional gas fired warm air heater suitable for poultry sheds, pigsties and greenhouses.
- Open combustion system
- 100% efficiency
- Proven design
- Robust stainless steel casing
- Effective heating
For many years poultry farms have heated by so called "open flame" heaters. It is a relatively low-cost heating solution; the sheds can be heated with minimum investment. The efficiency is 100 % as all generated energy remains in the building. Obviously, this type of installation requires good ventilation to ventilate the combustion gasses and water vapour to the outside.
For this market Winterwarm has engineered a new generation heater: the DHX-series, which is the successor of the DXA-series. Provided with the latest technology. They can not only by applied in poultry houses and green houses but also in pigsties. Also there is an extra small model of 40 kW available, next to 75, 100 en 120 kW.
Efficient heating for greenhouses
In greenhouses the growing process requires CO2 and a humid enviroment. The DHX (natural gas or propane gas) is then a very reliable and cost-effective heating solution.
The DHX is an improved version of the DXA. The burning process is improved and the heater is more failure proof so that the heater remains operating under the most difficult circumstances, like in pigsties.
The DHX units are provided the latest technology and updated burner control unit with an easy to understand display on the lid of the component box. In most cases the external control is managed by a central computer. Also the DHX can be easily connected to these computers by means of a volt-free contact. The whole DHX-series is CE-approved.
