Description
The hybrid air heater QSG 30+60 consists of a heat pump of 30 kW and an inside unit with water coil, an axial fan and a gas fired booster of 60 kW. With in total 90 kW heating capacity this is the largest Qwikshift Hybrid Heater. Perfectly suitable to make heating more sutainable in various industrial and commercial buildings which now have a 100% gasfired heating solution.
The water coil with modulating EC fan is the heat emission system for the heat pump. The booster is a high-efficiency gas-fired air heater that is activated when the heat pump is unable to generate sufficient heat to achieve the desired room temperature. At the front, an air discharge grille with adjustable louvers ensures even distribution of warm air throughout the space, preferably supported by ceiling fans. During the summer, the QSG provides comfortable cooling.
Efficient energy management
The Smart Controller controls both the heat pump and the indoor unit based on the measured room temperature and determines when the booster should jump in. By choice, this can be done partly on the basis of the user's programmed gas- and electricity rates. The QSG can also be connected to a building management system so that the user can monitor the performance of the system and improve it even more.
