One smart controller
The Smart Controller, originally developed for the hybrid Qwikshift QSG and QSE models, is now also compatible with the gas-fired HR and XR+ air heaters and the electric EH air heaters. This means features such as Wi-Fi control, comprehensive timers and Modbus communication are now also available for these units. This offers added convenience and makes it easier to improve sustainability step by step.
Combining existing and new systems
A new Qwikshift installation can be combined with an existing Winterwarm air heater.* Both systems, including the heat pump, are controlled via a single Smart Controller. The hybrid air heater switches on simultaneously with the existing unit and immediately takes over part of the heating demand. This can result in energy savings of up to 30%.
A step-by-step transition to sustainability
This extension offers installers greater flexibility in renovation projects. Existing units do not need to be replaced immediately, whilst the installation can still be expanded with a hybrid heating solution. This allows the end user to make the transition to sustainability step by step and spread their investments.
Furthermore, a Modbus control kit enables integration with a building management system (BMS) for centralised control and management.
