JET heaters heat showroom and warehouse at CPH Bike Shop in Copenhagen (DK)

For the showroom and warehouse of CPH Bike Shop in Copenhagen South (Denmark), a powerful heating solution was required due to the building height. Given the size, height, and usage of the space, it was important to ensure even heat distribution throughout the entire area.

Challenge: effectively utilizing heat in a high space

The building measures 14 x 33.2 x 8.4 meters. In high spaces like this, temperature differences between floor and ceiling quickly occur. Warm air rises, which can result in cold conditions at working height and energy loss through the roof.

Therefore, a solution was needed that actively brings heat from greater heights down to floor level and ensures an even temperature distribution throughout the showroom and warehouse.

Solution: Winterwarm JET heaters

Helge Frandsen Varmeteknik A/S therefore implemented two water-fed Winterwarm JET heaters.

The JET is specifically designed for high spaces and ensures that warm air is efficiently directed to the working area. Thanks to its discharge head with inducing nozzles, the JET moves up to 10 times more air than a standard air heater.

Key benefits:

  • Even temperature distribution
  • Minimal temperature differences between floor and ceiling
  • Reduced heat loss through roof and ceiling
  • Comfortable indoor climate at working height

Result: improved comfort and lower energy costs

By implementing the JET heaters, the indoor climate in both the showroom and warehouse has been optimized. Employees and visitors benefit from a more comfortable environment, while energy loss is significantly reduced.

In addition, ceiling fans are no longer required, resulting in a simpler installation and lower energy consumption.
